Three days ago a group of German Hackers officially released a new DDoS tool]100 (Denial of Service) that exploit a weakness in the SSL protocol in an attempt to encourage the industry to reinforce the security standard adopted by the protocol and make citizens safe and secure again.
This is quite interesting, especially considering that it is not the first time this happens. In the past three years 3 major vulnerabilities have been found in the protocol.
At this stage, I want to reconnect this claim with the recent Google ā[privacy statement][101]ā and the change they made, implementing the SSL protocol to serve their results (which among other things pass an altered referrer creating other troubles).
Iām sure a company like Google was aware about the SSL vulnerabilities, so once again, why they attempted to make foul the community?
